Discover the new BAPSO exhibition in Saint-Omer on the theme "It's all about education!

This summer, we invite you to delve into educational literature.
In 1530, Erasmus of Rotterdam published his De civilitate morum puerilium ("On the education of children's morals"), considered to be the first manual of manners of the modern era, which he almost certainly began writing at Tournehem Castle, near Saint-Omer. This treatise on education is part of an ancient literary tradition, from ancient texts to Renaissance treatises, via various medieval manuals.
In this exhibition, you will discover some forty early manuscripts and printed works, displayed in the showcases of the Aubin Room.

The exhibition opens at 7pm on Friday 31 May.
