"Frédéric Tentelier, a visual artist and performer in one, adopts a working method centred on the arrangement of diverse materials, juxtaposed in multiple-entry schemes. He combines analogies, associations of ideas, interferences, collages... and is particularly interested in the links between forgetting, memory, time, sound, silence and wandering.
As part of a research and creation residency with Capso and the Hauts-de-France Region, he began his research on the Audomarois region, based on the mysteries of the Labyrinth. Part initiation rite, part search for a hypothetical centre, part symbol, part game, he asks questions and answers them with riddles. Its precise origins are forgotten, but it has persisted for millennia. With its ambiguous chaos, it can be experienced as a wandering through time, a space under construction, a sensory experience...

To mark the European Heritage Days, Frédéric Tentelier is taking over the Moulin à Café for a series of musical theatre performances, Des distances inaccessibles. Join in this invitation to wander the grounds, evoking the myths of the Labyrinth, and let yourself be led astray by a dotted Ariadne's thread...
