For young astronomy enthusiasts, there's a chance to admire the sky with the "Little Dipper" course. This course, aimed at young people aged 9 to 14 who want to take their first steps in astronomy, is designed to teach them how to find their way around the sky: using a telescope or a pair of binoculars, differentiating between the stars and the planets, knowing the phases of the Moon... all in simple, accessible language!
They will learn in groups of 10, over 3 half-days and 2 evenings of observation (19 hours in total), with a qualified instructor approved by the Association Française d'Astronomie. Budding astronomers will try to get closer to these distant stars, which are nonetheless part of the Earth's environment.
They will be awarded a diploma to validate their newly-acquired astronomical knowledge.
