TRAIN TOURISTIQUE | Festivallée

During the weekend of 5 and 6 October 2024, the Chemin de Fer Touristique de la Vallée de l'Aa is offering an unusual journey back in time, organised to celebrate 150 years of the Saint-Omer / Boulogne-sur-Mer railway line.
Picturesque journeys on steam locomotives will enable you to discover the railway heritage and the know-how handed down through the generations. But that's not all... This unique event, dubbed the Festivallée, highlights the many tourist sites located along the Arques - Lumbres railway line, in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Caps et Marais d'Opale.

The Ascenseur à bateaux des Fontinettes, La Coupole and the Chemin de fer touristique de la vallée de l'Aa are joining forces to promote the wealth of tourism and heritage in our region.
As the starting points for your journey through the lush green Aa Valley, the stations at Arques and Lumbres will be alive with heritage, shows, craftsmanship, historical highlights and much more.

TRAIN DEPARTURE TIMES :
Arques to Lumbres: 9.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm, 5.30pm.
Lumbres to Arques: 10.30am, 12.30pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm, 6.30pm.


ATTENTION: The low-speed access will be closed during the festival and entry will be via a shuttle train departing from the Fontinettes boat lift quay.

**The Day Pass gives you access to the Boat Lift, La Coupole, the craft village in Lumbres, the Vallée de l'Aa Tourist Railway and events at Arques station **.
