PROGRAMMATION ESTIVALE | Église Saint-Denis à Saint-Omer

After several years of work, the church of Saint-Denis is reopening its doors this summer, as part of an exceptional programme of lectures, guided tours and artistic performances. From 3 July until the European Heritage Days, there will be plenty of opportunities to rediscover the town's oldest religious building.
Access is by prior booking only.

- Thursday 3 July at 6pm: Launch evening "A new look at Saint-Denis" (1h30).
Lecture on the church of Saint-Denis, 900 years of history.
Screening of the film about the work on the church of Saint-Denis.
Presentation: Carl Peterolff's photographs of hidden sculpted details.

- Saturdays 12 and 26 July at 10.30 am: Guided tour "The treasures of Saint-Denis church" (1 hour).

- Tuesday 15 July at 6pm: Musical talk "Un panorama des orgues de Saint-Omer" (45 minutes).

- Saturday 2 August at 11am: Concert tour "around the organs" (1h30).

- Tuesdays 12 and 19 August at 2pm: Guided tour "Les trédors de l'église saint-Denis" (1h).

- Wednesday 20 August at 6pm: Solo dance performance "Souvent je commence par tomber" (40 minutes). Choreography, texts, original music. Show organised by the CAPSO culture department as part of "Plaines d'été en Hauts-de-France" with the support of the DRAC HAuts-de-France. Bookings at the Saint-Omer Tourist Office.

- Thursday 28 August at 6pm: Lecture "The furniture of the church of Saint-Denis" (45 minutes) by Romain Saffré, Heritage Curator. Book in advance at the Saint-Omer Tourist Office.

- Saturday 30 August from 2pm to 6pm: Roue Libre.

- Saturday 6 September at 11am: Concert tour "around the organs" (1? hours): Book in advance at the Tourist Office.
