Don't expect long meditations in the shade of cherry blossom trees. In these traditional tales, Japan is funny and lively, full of demons as terrible as they are stupid, samurai who fight them by throwing logs or letting off farts, and clever grandmothers who know how to cut off the heads of the monsters that annoy them. So there you have it!

What is "Conteurs en campagne"? It's a festival of professional storytellers from all over France who travel to the rural towns and villages of our region to put down their luggage for one or two shows, in which CAPSO and its network of libraries are partners. With shows for young audiences, families, music and adults, there's something for everyone in this eclectic programme. Once again this year, the library network is hosting several artists. Don't know the libraries in the network yet? This is a great opportunity to discover them, whatever your age.
