Discover the new edition of the "Exquis mots" book festival from 05 to 24 October 2023 as part of La Barcarolle's cultural season!
"The frostiest of book festivals is back in the Pays audomarois! The network of libraries, La Barcarolle and La Comédie de l'Aa are joining forces with local bookshops to invite you to read and open your eyes to different literatures, both written and oral, from all walks of life...".

Meet the authors, take part in workshops, enjoy performances, readings and other surprises at the Festival Exquis Mots, featuring adult and children's literature, comics and manga!

Thursday 05 October at 6.30pm: Opening of the Festival Exquis mots at the Chapelle des Jésuites, Saint-Omer.

06 and 07 October: Exhibition and reading workshops at the Moulin à café, Place Foch, Saint-Omer.

Saturday 07 October (10am - 6pm) at the Moulin à Café: Book fair, book signings, conferences, meetings, workshops: teen/adult literature, children's literature (with the presence of the mascot P'tit Loup).

Saturday 14 October (10am-6pm) at the Média'Tour Longuenesse: Comics and Mangas - book signings, book sales,
cosplayers, FabLab, face painting, drawing workshop, live drawing demonstration, quiz, round table.

From 27/09 to 24/10: Departmental Library exhibitions on display in CAPSO network libraries.
