Brewery Goudale Arques (3)We continue with an industrial behemoth. Goudale, this giant brewery, produces 1.9 million hectolitres a year and sells it to the four corners of the globe. G de Goudale is their vintage grand cru. It won Gold at the World Beer Awards 2021 and Silver in 2023. This is a blond with fruity notes of citrus peel and passion fruit. Perfect for an afternoon aperitif.
A micro-brewery located in the small village of Escoeuilles, this beer, brewed in the traditional artisanal way, is a flowery blonde ale with a hoppy nose. It’s an ode to spring, singing birds and the return of the sun. Winner of a silver medal at the 2023 Lyon international competition, we’re apparently not alone in our appreciation of Funquet Hops.
