On your canvases, on your brushes… This Painters in the Street day is open to everyone, young and old, beginners and experienced artists alike. Oil, watercolour, pastel, ink, pencil, gouache, acrylic – everyone is welcome. And if your taste takes you to sculpture, ceramics, etc… we will welcome you with pleasure. “On the site of the Motte Castrale, which welcomes us, or in the vicinity of the cathedral, you will have the opportunity to exercise your talent, early or yet to come, without any spirit of competition. Bring your paper, canvases, pencils and/or brushes, and at the end of the day, we’ll be rewarding all the participants and exhibiting your achievements.” – Entries, which are strongly recommended before September 4, are free and all participants will be rewarded. –Artists will be welcomed in Saint-Omer on Sunday 7 September 2025 at the Motte Castrale, Place Sithieu, a stone’s throw from Saint-Omer Cathedral, from 8.30am to 10.30am, with a complimentary breakfast. – Between 16:30 and 17:00, the painters will return to the reception area with their works, which will be exhibited to the public and the jury – The prizes and awards ceremony will take place at 18:00 at the Motte Castrale in a convivial atmosphere.
