The 2026 tourist season has just begun, and what could be more authentic than discovering a region through its gastronomy and craft products? The farmers’ markets and events markets are there to help you make the most of your culinary and craft discoveries. You’ll have the opportunity to buy high-quality products made locally with passion!
Here, proximity rhymes with authenticity!
Vegetables, fruit, meat, dairy products, fish, delicatessen products, drinks, other products… A whole host of quality-labelled products are sold close to your home or holiday destination, and there are a number of ways in which you can track down all these nuggets!

1- EVENTS MARKETS
Don’t hesitate to go to the nearest market to do your shopping and sample some local produce!
For Pays de Saint-Omer, here are 4 dates to remember:

    • Tuesday 14 July from 10am to 6pm: “Waterside Market” at Ô Marais by Isnor, in Clairmarais.

2- “EAT LOCALLY” with the Parc Naturel Régional
You can eat locally thanks to the directory of Caps et Marais d’Opale producers , which lists local outlets selling organic produce and products bearing the Parc Valeur label .

3- THE “BIENVENUE À LA FERME” NETWORK
The “Bienvenue à la Ferme” (Welcome to the Farm) network, supported by the Chamber of Agriculture, promotes a number of farms in the Hauts-de-France region, including : the Sophie and Rémi Sergent educational farm in Racquinghem, the Ferme du Valtencheux in Renty, the Ferme du Paillard in Surques and the Ferme Sainte-Aldegonde in Wisques.

4- THE “Où Acheter Local.fr” WEBSITE
Find a wide choice of products from farms in Hauts-de-France around you thanks to geolocation and discover the various sales outlets around you: farm shop, producers’ shop, vending machines, markets, or opt for certain online purchases via the “click and collect” service!
