The festivities are in full swing at the Musée Sandelin! Carnival scenes are scattered throughout the rooms. Look out for the colourful costumes on 18th century masked ball scenes: even the dogs look like they want to dance. Carnival masks can also be found on a superb table centrepiece: they are reminiscent of Commedia dell'arte, a comic theatrical genre featuring masked actors.
