In April 1944, in the centre of Saint-Omer, the Luftwaffe inaugurated a new bunker of a rare type on the Atlantic Wall: L434. Only 5 examples exist, all unique.
Our guided tours of this 180m² bunker in period costume will take you on a real journey back in time! You'll discover how a Second World War transmission bunker worked and what daily life was like.
During this 1? hour tour, you'll travel from the First World War to the Occupation, right up to the Liberation of the town of Saint-Omer by General Maczek's Polish troops, through the eyes of a German soldier, the memories of a child from Saint-Omer, or a Polish soldier at the Liberation...
A unique and immersive experience.
