The 19th century was a golden age for illustration. The development of the press offered artists new ways of expressing their style. Drawing on the exhibition devoted to François CHIFFLART at the Musée Sandelin and the works available in the Micro-Folie, Florence GRAUX will present a number of works that cut across engraving, illustration and Romanticism.
