At the entrance to Thérouanne lies the site on which a magnificent cathedral stood in the Middle Ages... Today, virtually nothing remains above ground, but a walk through the park after a visit to the Maison de l'archéologie is a great way to immerse yourself in the history of Thérouanne and to imagine the splendour of the city in medieval times.
