The Quality Tourism Mark

L’Office de Tourisme du Pays de Saint-Omer has been committed to the Démarche Qualité Tourisme™ since 2016.

The Eco-actors label

L’Office de Tourisme du Pays de Saint-Omer became a signatory of the eco-actors charter in 2016.

To be an eco-actor is to possess these values:

  • Respect: They recognize the richness of the Audomarois marsh and its fragility. They adapt their practices to preserve nature, local culture and the living environment.
  • Transmission: They share their knowledge of the territory, its heritage with their visitors. They share their know-how and skills within the eco-actors network.

Tourism & Handicap

Tourisme & Handicap is a mark that identifies establishments meeting the specific needs of tourists with disabilities whether auditory, mental, motor or visual.

L’Office de Tourisme du Pays de Saint-Omer since May 2021, has obtained the national Label “Tourisme & Handicap” Mental disability, hearing disability, motor disability Through the implementation of means, and a quality welcome, the Pays de Saint-Omer Tourist Office Travel Consultants are trained and sensitized to receive all people affected by a disability.

LPO Garden

The establishment of an LPO Refuge offers its company the opportunity to give concrete expression to its commitments and orientations in terms of sustainable development policy, and to enter into an active approach to protecting biodiversity.

By creating an “LPO Refuge” within the Jardin l’Office de Tourisme, the latter, a signatory to the Charter, undertakes to:

  • Evaluate the biodiversity of its land and its ecological specificities by your local LPO’s surveyors;
  • Reflect on natural features of interest to wild fauna and flora;
  • Adopt a management plan for its green spaces or land.

Classification of collective accommodation covers hotels, campsites, leisure parks, tourist residences, vacation villages and collective inns. All types of accommodation, with the exception of group inns, which have a single classification, are graded from 1* to 5*. They are assessed according to the following three main criteria: the level of comfort of the facilities, the services offered in the establishments, and good practices in terms of respect for the environment and welcoming customers with disabilities.
