"The light has gone out, and it's begun... For months I've been waiting, imagining, thinking "This is what I'd like to say to them, to share with them...". And then suddenly you're there, and the show begins... There are evenings like that when you tell yourself how lucky you are, when you wouldn't give up your seat for anything in the world, evenings when the music overflows from the piano and the words come tumbling out. I love these shared moments, which are the raison d'être of writing. Where else would I find the courage to open up like this, if it weren't for your answers on the other end of my guitar, echoing my voice? Yves Duteil.
