USA - U.K | 2024 | 1h57 - Biopic by Ellen Kuras
Muse and wife to famous artists, photographer Lee Miller was a latecomer to recognition. While Ellen Lukas's film focuses on her career as a war photographer, the lecture will dwell on her Surrealist period, during which she was Man Ray's assistant and produced her own artistic work.
The incredible life of LEE MILLER, former model for Vogue and Man Ray's muse, who became one of the first female war photographers. Sent to the front and prepared to do anything to bear witness to the horrors of the Second World War, her courage and refusal to accept convention changed the way the world was seen.
An artistic lecture lasting approximately 1 hour, organised by the Ecole d'Art, followed by a screening of the film.
Single ticket price - No booking required, tickets on sale 45 minutes before the start of the screening.
The next public film screenings will take place from Wednesday 28 to Sunday 3 May 2026.
