This project reinvents the tradition of quodlibet, the art of counterpoint practised since the 15th century, by adapting it to the world of the Beatles. Through an original mashup of sounds from the Renaissance, the era of Francis I and Henry VIII and pop rock, it offers a sonic journey where past and present engage in dialogue. An elegant, timeless performance that illustrates the musical continuity between eras.
Saturday 20 September 2025 :
2pm: Church of Nort-Leulinghem - concet accompanied by a guided tour (total duration 1h45).
Please note: this show will also be performed on 20/09 at 4.30pm in the church of Saint Denis in Saint-Omer (lasting 1 hour) and on Sunday 21 September 2025 at 3pm in the church of Hallines (lasting 1 hour) and at 5pm in the Chapelle des Jésuites in Saint-Omer (lasting 1 hour).
