As part of its cultural and civic programme, La Coupole, Centre d'Histoire & Planétarium 3D is pleased to invite you, in partnership with the Solidarité Ukraine association, to a conference on contemporary Ukraine, led by Olivier Védrine, professor, journalist and lecturer.
Four years after the start of the war, Ukraine is in the news every day. Yet this country on the doorstep of the European Union is still too often misunderstood and reduced to partial representations. Through a historical, political, cultural and economic approach, Olivier Védrine will provide the keys to a better understanding of today's Ukraine:
- a modern and innovative country,
- a society rich in regional diversity
- a people that resists, welcomes, creates... and also suffers.

Organised in partnership with the Solidarité Ukraine association, this meeting will also provide an opportunity to discuss the solidarity initiatives undertaken on behalf of Ukrainians who have arrived in our country and those who are still living through the conflict on the ground.
Because culture is also a tool for understanding the contemporary world, we would be honoured if you could attend this meeting.
