The town of Aire-sur-la-Lys, in partnership with the Municipal Youth Council (CMJ) and the Espace Socioculturel de la Lys, is organising the first AIRE COLOR RUN, a colourful and festive race open to everyone, on Saturday 6 September 2025.
The Aire Color Run is a non-timed sporting event, where the aim is to share a convivial moment in a festive spirit. Along an accessible route, participants will be sprinkled with 100% natural coloured powders, creating a unique and participatory visual spectacle.
Open to children, teenagers, families and senior citizens, this race invites local residents to come together around the values of well-being, sharing and local dynamism.
Venue, times and programme
The start will be at Place Notre-Dame in Aire-sur-la-Lys.
- 11am - 12pm and 1.30pm - 2.30pm: Distribution of kits (Place Notre-Dame)
- 2.30pm - 3pm: Group warm-up
- 3pm: Official start of the race
- 4.30pm: Final gunpowder throw - Symbolic closing moment
Two registration options are available:
- Aire Color Kit - €10: includes an official t-shirt, a sachet of coloured powder and a pair of sunglasses
- Without kit - €5: includes one sachet of coloured powder
