Open to the general public.
David Faltot, visual artist and teacher-researcher at the Université Catholique de Lille, invites you to rediscover the practice of archaeology from a culinary perspective through an installation combining sculpture and food. You will have the opportunity to discover this approach through a privileged moment with the artist.
Created especially for this season of the "Nos Musées ont du Goût" programme, Terre à terre is at the crossroads of sculpture, cooking and a reflection on the ancestral material of earth. The installation, which is monochrome but not monotonous, takes the form of a partly edible still life, from which the public is invited to pick out delicacies using a variety of tools. Through this sensory and participatory experience, the work weaves a link between the local archaeological heritage and a form of culinary archaeology, calling on the senses, memory and gesture all at once. Terre à terre offers a lively dialogue between aesthetics, taste and history, anchoring the artistic act in a territory, its traditions and its materials.
Bookings must be made via the online diary on L'Agence's website: https://www.aud-stomer.fr/agenda/experience-insolite-cuisine-plasticienne-installation-artistique/
