What is Storytelling in the Countryside? It's a festival of professional storytellers from all over France who travel to the rural towns and villages of our region to put down their luggage for one or two shows, in which CAPSO and its network of libraries are partners. With shows for young audiences, families, music and adults, there's something for everyone in this eclectic programme.
Once again this year, the library network is hosting several artists. You don't know the libraries in the network yet? This is a great opportunity to discover them, whatever your age.
Ever since Marie Grauette met the wolf, fairy tales have been turned upside down. Nothing is as it used to be, even the Earth doesn't go round any more. That's saying something! With little hidden messages and subtle poetry, Christiane and Jacques take on the role of "dijeux" to present a handful of tales with humour, humanity and a love of the beautiful Picardy language.
For ages 10 and up.
Be sure to register one child and one accompanying adult.
Bookings only at the Pays de Saint-Omer Tourist Office.
