Following their success at the Théâtre de Paris, Michèle Bernier and Francis Perrin are back on tour in "Lily et Lily", directed by Marie Pascale Osterrieth. Hollywood, 1935. Lily Da Costa, a star whose talent is matched only by her immoderate taste for luxury, alcohol and men, is besieged by the press and her greedy, self-interested entourage. Deborah, her slightly dim-witted twin sister, the self-effacing wife of an austere Minnesota pastor, leaves her chickens and sweet potatoes behind, determined to come and save her sister's soul and put her back on the straight and narrow. The two of them, carbon copies of each other, will have to replace each other... Barillet and Gredy's legendary play, performed by Jacqueline Maillan in 1985, returns in a revisited, modern version to delight a new generation of theatre-goers.
