This Sunday 29 March, to mark the end of the month devoted to women at the Musée Sandelin, we are delighted to present a one-woman show about motherhood entitled "La femme brouillon".
La femme brouillon" is performed by the company "Toutes nos façons d'être".
Amandine has just had a baby. Her life has been turned upside down, and becoming a mother has shaken the feminist in her. She feels alone, disorientated, without bearings. She goes back in time and takes us into her story, to meet the woman she used to be, the woman before the mother, the beginning of the pregnancy, the transformations in her body and mind, the doubts that beset her, the fears and angers that run through her. And the fear of not being a good mother. Amandine tries to conform to the prevailing norm: to reconcile her social, family and professional life. Can she, the messy woman, manage it?
