Thriller theatre Espace Culturel AREA. By Compagnie de Louise.
A malicious and extremely serious act has been committed against a sixth form pupil on the very first day of school. The child under suspicion risks a disciplinary board and permanent exclusion from the school. The play begins three days after the incident and moves back in time to the moment of the incident. Over the course of the play's three acts, featuring in turn a trio of teachers, a trio of parents and a trio of children, the truth is reconstructed according to each person's interpretation... But what really happened? Truth sometimes seems to have become a relative notion. Social networks, and our choice of media in particular, put us in contact with people who more often than not agree with us, creating the feeling that anyone who doesn't think like we do is necessarily wrong, and thus contributing to the growing divide in society. The question then arises: how can we get back to living together and being united?
