Espace Culturel d'Agglomération Area

The Espace Culturel d'Agglomération Area hosts the following activities: cinema (public and schools), Conservatoire theatre workshops, concerts, theatre, lectures, shows...
The CAPSO cinema offers public film screenings during the first week of each month from September to June at a single price of €4 per person. 3 films (spread over 5 to 7 screenings) are offered to the public each month, paying particular attention to the diversity of audiences and films selected. The Area also takes part in school film programmes such as "Apprentis et lycéens au cinéma", "Ecole et Cinéma" and "Maternelle et Cinéma", and supports a number of projects and festivals, including "CinéSoupe", "Les rencontres cinématographiques" in CORENS and "Petits Films pour Petits Bouts".
The Area is the head office and main venue for the programming of the Office Culturel d'Aire-sur-la-Lys (OCA). The OCA organises a wide range of performances (music, live shows, audiovisual screenings, artistic residencies, etc.) at the AREA for a variety of audiences (very young audiences, young audiences, general audiences, schools, etc.).
The Theatre Workshop, run by CAPSO's departmental conservatoire (CRD), also has a dedicated space where young people aged 8 to 18 can learn and improve their theatrical skills.
Please note that the cinema does not take bookings and does not offer pre-sales (tickets are only sold on site 45 minutes before the screening).
