    Witness to life in the Faubourg de Lyzel in Saint-Omer in the mid-19th century, the market gardener's house (Historic Monument) will tell its story to visitors and reveal the scars of the floods of 11 November 2023 and 3 January 2024. Since then, and even today, the restoration work on this timber-framed and cob house has been hampered by worrying damp. The newly redone clay renderings need to be removed, and the lower runners need to be treated, before the rest of the renovation work can begin.
