This year's Mother's Day is on Sunday 31 May... always a fun, much-loved family event, but it can quickly turn into a real headache when it comes to finding THE perfect gift.
To help you in your quest for the holy grail, the town of Arques is organising "Les chalets de la Fête des Mères" (Mother's Day chalets) on the Grand'Place from 27 to 31 May, as it has done every year for the past four years. This year's event is even bigger, with no fewer than 14 exhibitors!
In a warm and friendly atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle of the big, crowded shopping areas, you'll be able to find a whole host of gift ideas, including perfumes, soaps, embroidery, beauty products, champagne (to be enjoyed in moderation), handmade creations, fashion accessories, decorations, candles and even a few delicacies... in short, dozens of ideas and quality products that are sure to make you and, above all, your loved one happy!
Last but not least, the retailers present will be organising a tombola. All visitors will be given a ticket (with no obligation to buy) for a chance to win one of the prizes offered by the exhibitors or €100 worth of Happy Kdo vouchers from the Office Intercommunal du Commerce et de l'Artisanat.

Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 May: 3pm - 7pm
Friday 29 and Saturday 30 May: 10am - 7pm
Sunday 31 May: 10am - 12pm
