As part of the "Rendez-Vous au Jardin" series, Michel Vernal, author and photographer, will be exhibiting at the Jardin de Marike on 6 and 7 June 2026. On the afternoon of Saturday 6 June, take a literary stroll through the flowerbeds and photographs; Béatrice Derre will be narrating, in the presence of the author, Ludovic Chrétien.
"This unexpected garden, tucked away between the city and the marsh, is home to perennials in ground cover, and trees and shrubs in staggered flowering periods, arranged in palettes of colour. Insects, small animals and birds, both sedentary and passing through, return around a pond and to help the apiary and fruit trees.
Le Jardin de Marike is a private garden and landscaped park.
Accessibility for people with reduced mobility and motor disabilities.
Access: Car park 150 m away.
Please note: Jardin de Marike is open by appointment every Saturday afternoon from 1 April to 31 October, for self-guided or guided tours (approx. 2 hours).
Accessible to groups (French/English) between 3pm and 6pm.
