Description
On Saturday 20 June, the municipal multimedia library in Arques will be hosting a highly original show entitled "Chansons friponnes", put on by the association Saint-Omer En Toutes Lettres (ages 15 and over, free with reservation).
The show will feature readings, songs and sketches taken from the book "La plume friponne et le pinceau polisson". Published in May 2025, this is a collection of texts, poems and songs written by Marc Lemaire, with the help of his friend Yves Carouge, who illustrated each chapter. It is also the fruit of collaboration with several members of "Saint-Omer en Toutes Lettres", who contributed their know-how and talent to the production of this work.
To complete the process, they agreed to take part in a show created to present the book in the company of storyteller Christine Charpentier and musicians Raymond Gembarski and Brigitte Mulet.
See you on Saturday 20 June at 2pm or 4pm (two performances) at the Arques multimedia library. Free admission. Ages 15 and up. Bookings at the media library on 03.21.11.17.80 or on site.
