Dating from the 17th century, this chapel remains one of the most characteristic monuments of the Dutch Baroque style.
Formerly a Jesuit college, the chapel has experienced a number of vicissitudes. The faith and perseverance of the town's inhabitants saved it from destruction. Outside, visitors can admire the splendid 3-storey white stone façade.
Inside, there are 14 recently restored 18th-century gilded wood panels from the Collegiate Church of St Peter.
