How to get to Saint-Omer

To get to Saint-Omer by car, there are several routes available depending on your point of departure. If you’re coming from Calais, you can take the A26 freeway towards Saint-Omer, then follow exit 3 towards Saint-Omer Centre. If you’re coming from Lille, you can take the A25 freeway to exit 9, then follow the signs for Saint-Omer.

There are several options for getting to Saint-Omer by train, depending on your point of departure. If you’re traveling from Paris, you can take the train from Gare du Nord and get off at Gare de Saint-Omer in around 2h30. Alternatively, you can take the train from Lille and get off at Gare de Saint-Omer in around 1 hour. The Gare de Saint-Omer is located close to the town center, about 10 minutes’ walk away.

If you’re traveling from abroad, you can land at Lille-Lesquin international airport, which is around 70 km from Saint-Omer. From the airport, you can take a cab or train to Saint-Omer. If you’re traveling from France, you can land at Calais-Dunkerque airport, which is about 45 km from Saint-Omer. From there, you can take a cab or rent a car to Saint-Omer.
