Description
As it does every summer, the Area Urban Community Cultural Centre is organising four free open-air film screenings in the CAPSO municipalities.
Synopsis: Welcome to the world of Minecraft, where creativity is essential for survival! Four outsiders – Garrett, Henry, Natalie and Dawn – are suddenly transported through a mysterious portal to The Surface – an incredible cubic world that thrives on imagination. To return home, they’ll need to master this world (and protect it from evil creatures such as Piglins and Zombies), whilst embarking on a fantastical quest alongside Steve, the master crafter. This adventure will challenge them to be bold and to develop their creativity. These are all skills they’ll need to thrive in the real world.
Please bring warm clothing and something to sit on comfortably (a deckchair, folding chair, stool, sheets, a blanket, cushions, etc.).
Booking is essential via the Area ‘Mapado’ ticketing website: https://espaceculturelarea.mapado.com/
In the event of inclement weather, the screening will take place in the Jean Lefebvre multi-purpose hall (Rue de Roquetoire) in Racquinghem.
The screening is free and open to all.
