Fancy a bit of independence and freedom? The marshes are an entirely private natural area: the only way to explore them is by boat along the public rivers. If you’ve decided against the convenience of a guided tour and would rather explore the marsh at your own pace, take the helm of a motorboat. As you cruise along, you’ll discover: - The market garden marsh, with its crops and traditional dwellings - The medieval marsh with its winding rivers and outlying village (during a trip lasting at least 2 hours) - Wild and unspoilt landscapes - The outskirts of the Romelaëre Nature Reserve, with its ponds and protected wildlife. Set off at your own pace to explore France’s last remaining cultivated marshland; glide along the water and enjoy an authentic immersion in the heart of nature. -> 6-person boat, price per hour for the boat.
