Fancy a bit of independence and freedom? The marshes are an entirely private natural area: the only way to explore them is by boat along the public rivers. If you’ve decided against the convenience of a guided tour and would rather explore the marsh at your own pace, take the helm of a motorboat. As you cruise along, you’ll discover: - The market garden marsh, with its crops and traditional dwellings - The medieval marsh with its winding rivers and outlying village (during a trip lasting at least 2 hours) - Wild and unspoilt landscapes - The edges of the Romelaëre Nature Reserve, with its ponds and protected wildlife. Set off at your own pace to explore France’s last remaining cultivated marshland, glide along the water and enjoy an authentic immersion in the heart of nature. -> 6-person boat, price per hour for the boat.
