The start of the new term in September usually brings with it plenty of opportunities to go out. Every weekend, you’ll find ideas for things to do on your own, as a couple, with friends or with family! Concerts, festivals, annual highlights, sporting events, street markets and car boot sales, birthdays… Here’s a selection of unmissable events – you’ll find full details in our online calendar and on the organisers’ websites:
- On the 5th and 6th: 64th ANDOUILLE FESTIVAL in Ville d’Aire-sur-la-Lys: a wide range of entertainment, a wrestling gala, a pyrosymphonic show, a street market, a folk parade, a local produce market, andouille throwing from the Bailliage, concerts…
- 11th to 13th: SAINT-OMER BEER FESTIVAL in Saint-Omer.
- 12th and 13th: BIG SALE by local shops in Saint-Omer.
- 12th: REGIONAL NATURE PARK FESTIVAL with Parc Opale: 6 free nature walks, plenty of entertainment.
- 12th: AUDOMAROIS TRIATHLON & DUATHLON.
- 18th to 20th: EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS with the Agency: activities, guided tours and exhibitions.
- On the 26th: SOLIDAROCK – an inclusive and charitable concert organised by Solida’Rock.
