Description
This year, the Regional Nature Park is celebrating its 40th anniversary, and what better way to mark the occasion than with a great party! So we look forward to seeing you on Saturday 12 September: in the morning across the Audomarois and the Pays de Lumbres, and in the afternoon in Saint-Martin-lez-Tatinghem!
A day in two parts!
In the morning, we’re offering a choice of six nature walks to help you explore your local area and learn about the initiatives being taken to preserve its natural heritage. We’ll be talking about: birds, pond wildlife, river conservation, sustainable agriculture, geology and nature in the city.
There’s bound to be a walk to suit you! They’re free and open to everyone aged 7 and over! Booking is essential on 03 21 87 90 90 or at [email protected]
In the afternoon, it’s all about the children and their families! Join us on the forecourt of the Maison du Marais and in the mill’s green space for fun activities, games and plenty more to do!
On the programme: Bird concert, Night-time storytelling, A zany show about bats, Art workshop, Eco-friendly clown, Lots of stalls with games, Pony rides (at a very reasonable price, to help pay for the feed).
Entry is free from 2 pm; all the festival’s activities are free (except the pony rides).
