On Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September 2026, the Town of Aire-sur-la-Lys invites you to enjoy two days of festivities, traditions and entertainment to mark the 64th Andouille Festival.

𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶 𝟱 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗲 : 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝘂𝘅 𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲́𝘀!
The weekend will kick off with the 2nd edition of the Aire Color Run, organised by the Espace Socioculturel de la Lys, starting from Place Notre-Dame. A colourful sporting event to enjoy with family or friends
The evening will continue with the Reserve Non-Commissioned Officers’ wrestling gala at 8 pm at the Salle Ducrot, Rue de Bretagne
Then, at 10.30 pm, the skies over Aire will light up with the eagerly awaited pyrosymphonic show at the Nestier Stadium. A spectacular show not to be missed under any circumstances!
𝗗𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲 𝟲 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗲: 𝗹𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘂 𝗰œ𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲!
From 9am, runners will take to the town centre for the traditional OSA Athletics road races
Then, from 3.30pm, it’s time for the Festival’s highlight: the international folk parade!
Setting off from the Salle Berton, the parade will wind its way through the streets of the town centre with groups from France and further afield.
As every year, the Aire-sur-la-Lys Municipal Drum and Brass Band will lead the parade alongside the giants Lydéric and Chrymilde.Among others, you’ll see the Deltaband, a showkorps from the Netherlands, and the Soleiro Cuba troupe, taking you on a musical journey to Havana. Bolivia will also be in the spotlight with a performance by the Caporales San Simon group, not to mention the Bagad Keriz, the Vaillante Show & Marching Band from Saint-Quentin and the Guggenmusik JNC. The unmissable Gilles de Marchienne-au-Pont, with their impressive ostrich-feather headdresses, will bring the procession to a close.
The festivities will continue with the grand final parade from 5.00 pm to 6.45 pm on the Grand-Place.
And because an Andouille Festival wouldn’t be complete without its iconic moment… do join us at around 6.45 pm for the traditional throwing of the andouille from the Bailliage’s bretèche.
Throughout the day, you can also meet the Airois butchers at the Taverne de l’Andouille, set up in the Halle au Beurre, to sample and take home the famous local speciality.
To round off this 64th Festival in style, the evening will conclude with music from 7.00 pm at the foot of the Town Hall, featuring a major free live concert organised by the Town Council and Radio Horizon. The line-up features: Oria, Daysy, Joseph Kamel, Génération Céline and Vitaa as headliners!
