The Tribune d’artistes association invites you to discover its “Orgue et compagnies” Festival at the Basilica of Saint-Omer from 29 September to 4 October 2026.
“At a time of year when the light is so beautiful over Saint-Omer and the surrounding area, we are delighted to welcome you to the basilica to share the ‘Orgue et Compagnies’ Festival with you. Organised by the Tribune d’Artistes association, this programme – like its predecessor, the ‘Market Concerts’ – owes a great deal to the various sources of financial support, including the parish, the Friends of the Cathedral and numerous volunteers.
Whilst the magnificent Cavaillé-Coll organ at the Basilica of Saint-Omer – an instrument renowned throughout Europe, as well as from the United States to Japan – is the ideal instrument for grand solo recitals, it also shares the stage wonderfully with other musicians: instrumentalists, solo singers, choirs and even actors. The wonderful artists who spontaneously accepted our invitation are, moreover, all united by the same spirit of openness and of bringing together different audiences.”
