On the Neufossé canal, leaving from the Fontinettes boat lift in Arques, discover the history of river navigation and life on the canals.
During this visit, you'll also have the chance to pass through the large-gauge lock that replaces this lift: the Fontinettes lock. With a height difference of over 13 metres, it's a unique experience!
It's a great way to discover the world of the bargemen and the lift from another point of view. This new tour takes place aboard our covered catamaran LE MARC.
The guide will be with you on board throughout the tour.
Please arrive 20 minutes before the start of the event to facilitate boarding. The duration of the visit depends on the river navigation. It may fluctuate between 1h15 and 1h45, as our boat does not have priority.
